Opsview 6.9.x End of Support

Opsview versions 6.9.x reached their End of Support (EOS) status at the end of January 2026, in accordance with our Support policy. As of this date, these versions no longer receive code fixes, security updates, maintenance releases, or backported changes.

The documentation for version 6.9.7 and earlier releases will remain accessible for reference, but it will no longer be updated or maintained. We strongly recommend upgrading to the latest supported version of Opsview to ensure continued support and access to the latest features and security enhancements.

Application - HTTP Opspack

HTTP is an application protocol for distributed, collaborative, and media information systems as well as the foundation of data communication for the web. This Opspack checks whether your host responds to unencrypted and encrypted HTTP requests in a correct and timely fashion.

What You Can Monitor Copied

This plugin tests the HTTP service on the specified host. It can test normal (http) and secure (https) servers, follow redirects then measure connection times. Additionally, it can return the expiration date of the servers SSL certificate.

Service Checks Copied

Service Check Description
HTTP Determines if the host is responding to HTTP requests.
HTTP using SSL Determines if the host is responding to HTTPS requests.
HTTPS Certificate Expiration Check Returns the HTTPS certificate status and expiration date.

Add the Host Template Copied

Add the Application - HTTP Host Template to your Opsview Monitor host.
