Upgrade

Overview

Newer releases of Gateway Hub bring additional functionality, critical bug fixes, and performance improvements. Therefore, it is extremely important to keep Gateway Hub up to date.

Warning: Upgrades must be done sequentially from one minor version to the next, irrespective of patch version.

Upgrading from one version of Gateway Hub to the next can be done without interruption to data collection. The upgrade is performed from your installation machine. For prerequisites for the installation machine, see Installation machine requirements.

Note: Upgrading from v1.8.0 to v2.0.0 or from any previous version to v2.2.0 is not supported.
