Application - Microsoft 365 Opspack
Microsoft 365 is a line of subscription services offered by Microsoft as part of the Microsoft Office product line.
What You Can Monitor Copied
This Opspack allows you to monitor your Microsoft 365 Subscription at a high overview level, providing information on a number of Microsoft 365 services including Security, Exchange, Sharepoint, OneDrive and Skype for Business.
Host Templates Copied
The following Host Templates are currently provided by this Opspack. Click the name of each Host Template to be taken to the relevant information page, including a full Service Check description and usage instructions.

Setup Microsoft 365 for Monitoring Copied
To monitor your Microsoft 365 environment, you will need to retrieve the following credentials, which will allow Opsview Monitor access to the metrics for your Microsoft 365 Subscription:
- Tenant/Directory ID
- Client/Application ID
- Secret Key
Follow the steps below to retrieve this information.
Find the Tenant ID Copied
The Tenant/Directory ID can be found in the Azure Active Directory under the Properties section from the Azure dashboard.
Find the Client/Application ID for your application Copied
You need to create and register your application if you haven’t already. Use the following documentation from Microsoft: Create an Azure Active Directory application
The Client/Application ID can be found in Azure Active Directory under the App registrations section from the Azure dashboard.
Generate the Secret Key for your application Copied
You will need to create a Secret Key for your application, once this has been created its value will be hidden so save the value during creation.
To create the Secret Key, select your application from the list, select the Certificates & Secrets within your application and then select the Client secrets option.
There you can create a new client secret by adding the description and expiration period and the value will be generated.
Add Required Permissions Copied
The appropriate permissions for the APIs used by these Microsoft 365 Host Templates need to be added in Azure. To assign permissions select your application from the list, select the API Permissions within your application. Click Add, select the API and then choose the permissions for that API based on the table below.
