Withdraw of the 6.9.2 Release

Unfortunately, due to critical issues identified with version 6.9.2, we have decided to remove it and ensure it's no longer available for download. These issues impacted the ability to install or upgrade but none were security-related. We are diligently working to resolve these issues and are planning to release an updated version 6.9.3 in early May.

What if you've already upgraded?

For customers who have already upgraded to 6.9.2, no immediate action is required, as none of these issues are security-related. Once it's available, you will still be able to upgrade to 6.9.3 as normal. We appreciate your patience and trust as we continue to enhance our software to better serve you. Thank you for your understanding.

Create a Report

Opsview Monitor comes pre-packaged with a handful of reports. At some point in time, you might decide you would like to customize these reports with additional graphics or logic in the SQL queries which the reports use to generate the content.

For instructions on how to do this, please see Customizing a Report.

If on the other hand, you would like to create a brand new report, you will need to download and install Jaspersoft Studio. You might find that you will also have to install a version of Java if it has not been installed already.

Jaspersoft Studio works by using the results from a SQL query in combination with a template for displaying the content. You can modify the template to display various types of graphs or tables. Reports can take user input such as Hashtags or Host Groups and feed them into the SQL queries that populate the report data.

For instructions on connecting Jaspersoft Studio to the Opsview Reporting Module, see Creating a Custom Report with Jaspersoft Studio.
