Withdraw of the 6.9.2 Release

Unfortunately, due to critical issues identified with version 6.9.2, we have decided to remove it and ensure it's no longer available for download. These issues impacted the ability to install or upgrade but none were security-related. We are diligently working to resolve these issues and are planning to release an updated version 6.9.3 in early May.

What if you've already upgraded?

For customers who have already upgraded to 6.9.2, no immediate action is required, as none of these issues are security-related. Once it's available, you will still be able to upgrade to 6.9.3 as normal. We appreciate your patience and trust as we continue to enhance our software to better serve you. Thank you for your understanding.

Flow Collector

Overview Copied

This section explains the concept of the Opsview Flow Collector Module including what NetFlow, sFlow and jFlow data are, how it is sent back into Opsview Monitor, and finally how the gathered data can be interpreted and analyzed.

Opsview Monitor’s Flow Collector Module is an add-on module for Opsview Monitor SMB, Enterprise and MSP customers which enables the collection and analysis of flow-enabled network devices, such as NetFlow from Cisco routers, sFlow from HP Switches and more.

The main benefit of flow protocols such as NetFlow and sFlow is that they allow you to look inside the connection to see not only ‘That link is 95% utilized’, but to understand why: i.e. is a user downloading large files continuously, is a router misconfigured, etc.

Flow Module currently supports the three main flow protocols:
