OP5 Monitor 8.x Compatibility Matrix

Supported versions

ITRS supports the last two minor versions of OP5 Monitor:

  • 8.1.x
  • 8.0.x
  • 7.5.x

Only the latest major version receives regular enhancements and fixes. In exceptional circumstances, critical fixes may be backported to previous major or minor versions where it is not reasonably possible to upgrade to a newer version of the product.

Note: End of support for all versions of ITRS OP5 Monitor running on RHEL 6/CentOS 6 is effective beginning 30 November 2020.

OP5 Monitor collects data from the hosts through agents and API, for example, agentless.

NRPE is an agent distributed with the Linux operating systems, while NSClient++ is also an agent that is installed on Windows server.

Containerised environment support

ITRS supports running OP5 Monitor in the following containerised environments.

ITRS supports running OP5 Monitor in cloud environments such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform, and Microsoft Azure.

Deploying OP5 Monitor into any cloud environments should take into consideration connectivity, performance, network traffic, and cost implications.
