Using the Customer's Download Portal

The download portal provides a quick way for customers to access and download all the files needed to install the application.

  1. Log in to the Vendor Portal.

  2. Navigate to the Customers > Search customers field, find a specific customer in your portal (for example, ITRS-Engineering in the demo). Then, open your customer’s profile.

  3. To generate a password for the download portal, click Manage customer password.

    Note

    If you already have a password, you can skip this step. Please remember that each customer account has only one password. For instance, all members accessing ITRS-Engineering will use the same password.

    Generating and saving a new password will immediately log out all current users of the download portal. You will then need to log back in using the new password.

    • Click Generate to create a secure and unique password.
    • Copy and save the generated password.
  4. Click Visit download portal to launch the Customer’s Download Portal.

  5. Navigate to the Bring my own Kubernetes tab and download the necessary files and bundles.

    Note

    Selecting the application version ensures that the corresponding compatible versions of the KOTS CLI and the KOTS air gap bundle are also selected.

  6. (Optional) You can change the Channel (for example, Stable or Unstable) and the App Version if needed before downloading.
