OP5 Monitor 7.5.5

Released: 12 November, 2019

Issues fixed

These are the issues we have fixed in this release:

  • Documentation links in the OP5 Monitor application now redirects correctly in the ITRS OP5 Monitor Documentation.
  • Enabled gzip in Apache to increase page speed.
  • OP5 Monitor Report function now sends reports on time.

OP5 Monitor 7.5.4

Released: 15 October, 2019

Issues fixed

These are the issues we have fixed in this release:

  • Improved control so that only backups from correct version can be restored.
  • SNMP scan results are no longer filtered for any versions of SNMP.
  • Scheduled downtimes are now deleted correctly from all nodes regardless if the nodes have started or not.
  • Log archive search no longer throws timezone exceptions.
  • A change in the implementation of SNMP on EL 7.7 caused incorrect readings of RAM usage. A flag -S has been added to be used with EL 7.7 target systems to disable subtraction of buffered and cached memory.

OP5 Monitor 7.5.3

These are the issues we have fixed in this release:

  • The smssend module can now be used without root user privileges.
  • On RHEL 7.7, check_by_snmp_memory now produces a normal state.

OP5 Monitor 7.5.2

Issues fixed

These are the issues we have fixed in this release:

  • Updated the OP5 Monitor product image resolution.
  • The appearance of the login page has been adapted to fit the new branding.
  • The log for Ninja is now rotated.
  • Reduced scrolling after multi-action, only one banner is now shown.
  • check_vmware_api has been deprecated. A new version is available in the ITRS OP5 Monitor 8.0.
  • The configuration main page UI design has been updated and the number of unsaved changes are shown.
  • The Oracle-instantclient has been removed from distribution.
  • All text blocks during creation of admin account are now displayed separately.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented valid recurring downtime from being applied. 
  • Fixed an issue that caused the old product name to be shown in notifications.
  • Fixed an issue with an incorrect link within OP5 Monitor GUI pointing to support resources.
  • Scheduled reports from previous versions 7.5.x are now generated properly.
  • Fixed an issue that broke the parent configuration page when deleting a hostgroup in a hostgroup.
  • The logs for Livestatus and LMD are now rotated.

OP5 Monitor 7.5.1

  • Fixed an issue with the spelling of Dell PowerEdge servers.
  • Fixed an issue in nacoma with host object addresses longer than 75 chars.
  • Fixed an issue with a broken link to administrator manual.
  • Fixed an issue where Edit User Menu only save the last group edited.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented the use of the Action menu in scheduled reports.
  • Fixed an issue causing the error warning Useless use of AllowOverride during upgrade.
  • Fixed an issue where Host template did not allow to add host groups with identical names.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented Graphs from being generated in license.op5.com.
  • Fixed an issue where report/event API value service_description was incorrectly mapped.
  • Fixed an issue the prevented recurring downtime list view to show weekdays or months.
  • Fixed an issue where OP5 was displayed in lower case.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the Help text to flicker when hovering over help icon.
  • Fixed an issue where default arguments in OP5 self-monitoring management pack for OP5 Monitor Server gave false critical warnings for smsd service.
  • Fixed an issue where Tooltip covered the information in comment on hover.
  • Fixed an issue that caused an error in Edit User menu.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented connection to server when Upgrading op5-logger database.
  • Fixed an issue where requests to get_setting and save_setting generated an error.
  • Fixed an issue with an incorrect link on the about page to the knowledge base.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented logrotate of Merlin on RHEL 7.x.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented logrotate of smstools on RHEL.
  • Fixed an issue with an incorrect link to check cmd from plugin view.
  • Fixed an issue with an incorrect link to support levels on the plugin overview page.
  • Fixed an issue with an incorrect link to read more about plugins.

OP5 Monitor 7.5.0

Released: 5 March, 2019

Issues fixed

These are the issues we have fixed in this release:

  • Fixed the issue with license signatures which cause login failure to the UI. Detailed incident report including postmortem can be found here.
  • Fixed some logrotate issues.
  • Fixed some spelling issues.
  • Fixed Ninja backup function.
  • Fixed Ninja errors filling up ninja.log.
  • Fixed some security issues.
