Real-time forecasts with historical playback
To enable real-time forecasts as well as offer historical playback, the app uses three main components. See About the Forecaster app.-
Preprocessor — helps with noise reduction by selectively feeding metrics of interest.

Entity-level or entity group tracking
Notifications can be configured either for individual entities or for a group of Obcerv entities with common characteristics. See Grouped notification lifecycle. -
Automated messages
Once a notification is created, reminders will be sent at regular intervals following the trigger settings. See Messages. -
Third-party integration
The Notifications app enables integration with the following third-party tools:-
Slack — after configuring with an API token and a channel ID, the app can post individual messages and also create Slack threads. See Slack integration.

Webhook — enables communication over HTTP and supports sending JSON and YAML payloads using POST or PUT requests. See Webhook integration.

Centralized dashboarding
Data from multiple monitoring sources are visualised in easy to create and shareable native and Grafana dashboards. Obcerv’s forecasting algorithms can also predict business levels right on dashboards. See Obcerv Dashboards and Grafana app. -
Streamlined log investigation
Obcerv can store large amounts of log data for deeper root cause analysis. It is easier to find related log errors while having the convenience to view logs side-by-side or in-line. See Logs. -
