Highlights
These are the highlights of this release:
- Capacity Planner can now model Azure environments and make recommendations on configuration changes to virtual machines in Azure.
- Recommendations are now more detailed: Capacity Planner now shows the cost impact of retrospectively applying recommendations over the baseline time period.
New features and enhancements
These are the new features and enhancements of this release:
Issue key | Release description |
---|---|
ICP-1376 | Azure instance configuration was optimized affecting the virtual machine configuration and the savings that can be realised as a result of this configuration. |
ICP-2012 | The circle that indicates the value used in the box plots chart when viewing the recommendations chart now shows the value that was used for choosing the right-sized configuration instead of the value used when viewing the timeburst or sunburst. |
ICP-2180 | An All Accounts Savings Plan is now available showing you the optimised savings plan purchase for all existing accounts at the same time. |
ICP-2193 | A new Active in Model grouping is now available. When viewing a subset of the baseline (for example, a monthly or daily model), using this grouping allows you to view only activity for machines that were active during the time period in the model. This is particularly useful when viewing the timeburst. |
Issues fixed
These are the issues we have fixed in this release:
Issue key | Release description |
---|---|
ICP-2116 |
When you zoom on the timeburst and open the right-click menu, the menu no longer loses synch with the visualisation that makes it difficult to open a window on a specific instance. |
ICP-2156 |
If grouping, property names, or values have commas in them, the exported CSV file is now in the correct format. |
