MON-11822 Plug-ins A change in the implementation of SNMP on EL 7.7 caused incorrect readings of RAM usage. A flag -S has been added to be used with EL 7.7 target systems to disable subtraction of buffered and cached memory.

After upgrading to version 8.0.7, you may see one of the following error messages:

(...) eventhandler /opt/monitor/op5/smsreceive/smsreceiver/smsreceiver.php cannot
                be read: Permission denied

or

Stats directory /var/log/smsd_stats is not writable.

These issues both stem from configurations made in /etc/smsd.conf in combination with a recent change in OP5 Monitor.

MON-11603 GUI There are now titles on all pages in the toolbar in the configuration pages, labels on all drop-downs, and search fields. Headings of forms are now more descriptive, and the number of items now shows on the drop-down.
MON-11628 Ninja There is now a clear warning message during deletions to help reduce the risk of deleting unintended content.

ITRS is pleased to announce the release of OP5 Monitor version 8.0.0.

To download ITRS OP5 Monitor, including all components, see ITRS Downloads. OP5 Monitor is happy to announce the first public release of OP5 Monitor 8. For about a year already our developers have been working on the this release to make OP5 Monitor faster, modular and more focused on the customers’ needs. It is also the first release where we did things a bit different with the new microservice architecture and the API-first approach to development. We are certainly excited about this new major branch of OP5 Monitor and are looking forward to hearing your feedback.

  1. yum clean all.
  2. yum update.
  3. yum install op5-release-up-7-to-8.
  4. yum –enablerepo=’*7-to-8*’ update.
  5. On EL7, run this script:
systemctl enable op5-monitor
